Job DescriptionHGV Mechanic Franchised Motor Dealership Dumfries areaWe're on the lookout for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician for our client in Dumfries. If you take pride in your work, enjoy problem-solving and want to be part of a supportive workshop environment - this could be the opportunity for you.Salary: between £18.81 and £21.16 per hour, depending on experience£2000 relocation support offeredWorking Hours: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.8am to 12pm Saturdays as required (paid at overtime rate, time and a half)Key Responsibilities:Carrying out routine maintenance, inspections, servicing and repairs on HGVsDiagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faultsEnsuring all work is completed to DVSA and company standardsCompleting all job cards and paperwork accuratelyWhat We're Looking For:Qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)Experience working on HGVs / LGVs / commercial vehiclesStrong mechanical and diagnostic skillsReliable, punctual, and a team playerHGV licence an advantage but not essentialIf you're ready to join a workshop where your skills are valued and rewarded - apply today or get in touch for a confidential chat.Who are you applying to?The Solution Automotive Recruitment have been placing candidates into the UK Motor Trade since 1999.
