Job DescriptionJob Title: Project ControllerLocation: Broad Oak or New Malden. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular roleSalary: Up to £50,000 depending on skills and experienceWhat you’ll be doing:You will be supporting the Project teams to create project plans and control baselines as well as record, verify and report on project progressCollating programme performance metrics from various data sources to report against cost, schedule, milestone delivery, and other key performance indicatorsPerforming trend analysis of programme KPIs and deep dive activity to enrich programme performance informationPresenting programme performance data and analysis to the Senior Project Manager or Control Account Manager , and advising root cause analysis and recommended actions to correct programme performance issuesProviding support to the Project Manager to manage cost, schedule, and quality with associated data and metrics where requiredAssisting with the monthly EAC (Estimate at Complete) and resource profiling processesSupporting the management of risk and opportunity activity where requiredYour skills and experiences:Essential:Comprehensive experience and knowledge of Project Control policies, processes, procedures and systemsWorking knowledge of industry Project Controls toolsets e.g. Primavera, Microsoft Project, SAP, PredictExperience with Intermediate Risk and Opportunity ManagementDesirable:Practical application of business information toolsets/data analytics e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Power BIExperience/knowledge in Baseline Control , Cost Estimating/Engineering, Resource Management , Quantity Surveying, Business Analysis or Financial Management within project environmentsProject Management qualification/certificationBenefits:As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.The Project Team:By joining the team, you will be working together and using world-class project control techniques to provide expertise with supporting Project Managers in the delivery of exciting and strategically important programmes within our Maritime & Land Sector businesses.
