Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.comJob DescriptionThe EHS Director will be part of our team delivering major healthcare construction projects nationwide.This is a genuine opportunity to help shape the landscape of healthcare construction for a generation.The role holder will act as the Health & Safety competent person and EHS management system process owner and will be integral to driving and achieving industry leading EHS standards.Key Responsibilities:Support and enable the existing team in achieving the highest standards in EHS performance Creating and delivering a positive EHS engagement strategy across major health construction projectsManage and mentor the team to ensure that they provide excellent support to the businessCarry out site visits and leadership toursHelp to create a EHS culture within T&T, our major programmes and our supply chainMaintain excellent relationships with key clientsQualifications10 years+ experience in HSE in construction CMIOSH is preferredPrincipal Contractor experienceHSE Management Systems experience, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001Excellent written communications and interpersonal skills are essentialTeam player, self-motivated, and able to work using his/her own initiativeExcellent organisational skills with a positive, can-do flexible work attitudeAbility to work to strict deadlines and handle conflicting prioritiesStrong computer skills including MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project PrimaveraAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
