Our mission is to empower sustainable living by offering reliable and innovative solutions to our clients.We are looking for a skilled Magento Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable eCommerce solutions using Magento 2. You will be responsible for building robust backend functionality, integrating third-party services, optimizing performance, and ensuring secure, high-quality code.You will work closely with frontend developers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless and high-performing online shopping experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 backend modules and extensionsBuild and manage REST and GraphQL APIsImplement business logic, checkout flows, and payment/shipping integrationsIntegrate third-party services (ERPs, CRMs, payment gateways, shipping providers, etc.)Optimize site performance, database queries, and caching (Redis, Varnish, Full Page Cache)Ensure application security and data protection best practicesWrite clean, testable, and well-documented codeTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issuesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisionsManage deployments and environment configurations (staging/production)Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with Magento 2 developmentProficiency in PHP (OOP, MVC design patterns)Experience with MySQL/MariaDBKnowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQLExperience with Composer, Git, and CI/CD pipelinesUnderstanding of caching mechanisms (Redis, Varnish)Familiarity with Docker or Linux-based environmentsExperience integrating payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, etc.)Strong debugging and performance tuning skillsNice to HaveMagento certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Magento Developer)Experience with ElasticSearch/OpenSearchExperience with AWS, Azure, or Google CloudKnowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Knockout.jsExperience with headless Magento / PWA StudioWhat We OfferCompetitive salary Flexible working options (remote/hybrid)Opportunity to work on large-scale, high-traffic eCommerce projectsCollaborative and innovative team culture
