Manager, Global Strategic Analytics - Life ReinsuranceA leading life reinsurer is offering an exceptionally rare opportunity for a qualified actuary to join a truly forward-thinking Strategic Analytics team. Instead, the focus is on exploring new variables, new datasets, and new ways of thinking about risk. The team has access to underwriting data and other unique sources that most actuaries never see, and they constantly test how these can reshape assumptions, pricing approaches, and risk understanding across Protection and S&R.Someone who recently worked in the team confirmed that there is a good amount of hands-on coding - particularly in Python and SQL - and the projects are genuinely interesting, innovative, and unlike typical actuarial work.
