Job DescriptionHybrid Location: London8 Days per month in the office.Peregrine is seeking a Test Governance Lead to join our Technology Integration and Assurance Function, part of the System Integration & Testing team. This role is critical to ensuring that dcc’s testing and assurance activities are delivered in line with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards, supporting the successful delivery of change across the smart energy ecosystem.How you will contribute to transforming energy and shaping the future. * Own the creation, review, and refinement of governance documentation – including strategies, progress reports, and completion artefacts – ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory frameworks. * Write for impact: Understand diverse audiences (regulators, technical teams, stakeholders) and tailor content to their knowledge level and needs. * Maintain a structured library of governance artefacts for d programmes, ensuring accessibility and compliance. * Support governance forums such as the sec Panel’s Testing Advisory Group (TAG) and Test Assurance Board (TAB) through meeting coordination, artefact management, and reporting. * Advise on regulatory requirements and facilitate discussions with governing bodies (SECAS, DESNZ). * Collaborate with internal teams to evidence compliance and provide clear, well-documented assurance outputs. * Contribute to continuous improvement of governance processes and documentation standards. * Build strong relationships with stakeholders to influence outcomes and resolve issues.(Knowledge of testing processes and frameworks is beneficial but not essential – the focus is on governance, documentation, and communication excellence.)Your skills that will enable us to fulfil our purpose: * Exceptional writing and editing skills: Ability to produce clear, concise, and audience-appropriate documentation. * Analytical mindset: Skilled at identifying what stakeholders need to know and articulating it effectively. * Compliance & Regulatory Assurance: Experience working within regulated environments and evidencing adherence. * Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to collaborate and influence across complex multi-stakeholder landscapes. * Strong organisational skills to manage artefacts, reporting, and governance activities.(Familiarity with testing and assurance concepts is a plus, but not a core requirement)Behaviours We Value * Adapts: Responds effectively to change and supports others through transitions. * Acts with Integrity: Speaks up for what is right and encourages ethical behaviour. * Collaborates Openly: Shares information transparently and values diverse perspectives. * Delivers Results: Balances quality with speed and aligns tasks with strategic goals. * Develops Others: Shares knowledge and supports skill development. * Enables Performance: Helps colleagues achieve goals and fosters ownership. * Shapes Solutions: Evaluates options critically and implements effective improvements
