Our client is currently recruiting a Project Controls Manager to join their specialist Civil Engineering contracting business. The company that the Project Controls Manager will be working for are a well-established Civil Engineering contractor, whom work on projects from conception through construction to project delivery. The companies' specialities span across a variety of different sectors including water and waste water, infrastructure and coastal protection. The Project Controls Manager will be working on a prestigious project in Hampshire.The Project Controls Manager will establish and maintain effective tools and systems to support project delivery & reporting, supporting the Project Director and other members of the Project Leadership Team. The ideal Project Controls Manager will be well adverse in delivering complex construction projects.Project Controls Manager Position RemunerationSalary – up to £50kCompany Car Allowance25 Days holiday + BHPension up to 10% matchPhoneBonusProject Controls Manager Position OverviewServe as a point of contact for pricing, cost control, planning/scheduling, document control, BIM and/or risk analysisProvide support to members of the construction management and commercial/QS team, in cost estimating, programming, risk management, resource forecasting, change management and document control including BIMProvide continuity between the cost control, planning/scheduling, and estimating functions and deliverablesCo-ordinate production of Earned Valved analysis Effectively communicate with Joint Venture parties' in-house teams and with clients on project controls issuesLead project level reporting and the timely informing of management to drive complianceactivities and reporting. Develop requirements for the Information Delivery PlanCompile Monthly Report, obtaining information from project teamAgree contents and compile information for H&S FileOversee the BIM plan implementation and ensure nesting within wider project controlsOversee documents control activities in particular use of Common Data Environment (CDE)Produce Execution Schedules in conjunction with the Project PlannerProject Controls Manager Position RequirementsBachelors or Masters within Business, Finance/Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering or related fieldProven experience of large complex construction projectsUnderstanding of scheduling/programming, cost forecasting, dashboards and senior level reportingKnowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts & practical experience of change managementBIM and document managementKnowledge of construction techniques in particular water projectsJoint venture project experience would be advantageous
