Job DescriptionProTalent are currently working with a successful and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Buckinghamshire to recruit a new Accounts SeniorThe firm:Fast-growing and dynamic accountancy firm in Buckinghamshire\tVaried, challenging and hugely rewarding Accounts Senior role\tExpert team who work hard to provide exceptional standards\tStrong focus on innovation and technology, and ambitious growth plansThe Accounts Senior role:Your core responsibilities as an Accounts Senior will include:Prepare client accounts, tax, PAYE or VAT based work and identify points for partner to raise with clients and to raise potential for additional services\tFinalise paperwork for dispatch to client and HMRC, meeting deadlines and to a high quality\tInterpretation of tax returns and financial accounts to facilitate effective tax planning\tProactively liaise with clients to obtain relevant information, ensuring attention to detail\tMonitor own job quality and quantity in line with agreed budgets, meeting these targets and exceeding where possible\tRecord own chargeable time and ensure maximum recovery\tSupport trainees by providing on the job coaching\tInvolvement with audit work as and when required\tBookkeeping, ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts, as and when required\tPrepare client tax returns and advise on tax payable and payment dates\tAssisting clients with accounts software and other bookkeeping queries as required\tCompletion of overtime as and when required and attend appropriate courses\tInvolvement in client seminars including attendance and set up were required\tInvolvement in networking and business generation under the guidance of more senior team membersThe successful Accounts Senior candidate:ACCA/ACA Qualified\tYou will have at least 4 years’ UK practice experience\tPrevious experience operating at Accounts Senior level\tCreate a positive impression with clients and staff\tExcellent client relationship skills\tAptitude to assist with business development activities\tHighly commercial approach\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills\tA proactive approach, prepared to go the extra mile\tStrong IT skills\tEnjoy developing more junior staffThank you for your interest
