Job DescriptionJob Title: Accounts Payable ManagerLocation: Central LondonSalary: to £80,000 depending on experienceOne of our clients, a major international law firm, are looking for an accounts payable manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end management and efficiency of the firm’s global Accounts Payable function.Responsibilities:Manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department across all firm jurisdictions, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of a high volume of invoices, business expenses, matter related transactions disbursements and payment runs.Ensure all AP activities comply with relevant local and international tax regulationsSupervise, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable teamProactively identify opportunities to streamline AP workflows, drive process optimisation and automation, and leverage the functionality of the firm's ERP system to increase efficiency and accuracyEstablish, implement, and rigorously enforce internal controls and procedures within the AP function to safeguard firm assets and mitigate fraud risk, particularly in high-risk multi-jurisdictional wire payment scenariosManage the firm-wide expense reporting systemServe as the primary contact for external and internal auditors regarding AP, providing clear documentation and explanations of processes and controlsIt is essential that you have experience in accounts payable from another law firm, ideally in a supervisory role but they consider a candidate with a strong accounts payable background looking to take on more management duties.
