The team combines deep industry expertise with a collaborative and client-focused ethos.About the RoleMy client is seeking an experienced Senior Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to play a key role in the delivery of a broad range of building surveying and consultancy services.Key responsibilities include: * Leading and managing multiple projects from inception to completion. * Undertaking building surveys, defect analysis, and condition assessments. * Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation. * Managing refurbishment, maintenance, and improvement schemes. * Providing professional advice on dilapidations, party wall matters, and building pathology. * Supporting and mentoring junior team members. * Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support ongoing business growth.About the RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be: * MRICS or FRICS qualified, with a strong technical background. * Experienced across a variety of building surveying disciplines. * Confident in client-facing roles, able to manage projects and relationships effectively. * Commercially aware, with excellent communication and report-writing skills. * Proactive, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.About the SalaryMy client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with flexible working arrangements and clear opportunities for professional development and progression within a respected consultancy.How to ApplyIf you are a Consultancy based Building Surveyor of any level and seeking a new role, please contact Ilaria Ferrentino at Cityscape.I will be in touch to discuss the role further once I have had a chance to review your details
