Head of Platform Operations | High-Growth B2B SaaS | PE Backed Client | Hybrid Working (Surrey or Manchester) - £130,000 per annum + Benefits We are partnering with a high-growth B2B SaaS organisation (~£20m ARR) entering an exciting new scale phase. With a newly appointed CEO and a strong "people-first, move-fast" culture, the business is now strengthening operational leadership to support product maturity, platform scalability, and cost-efficient growth.They are looking for a Head of Operations to lead Operational Excellence across DevOps, IT, Security and Platform Operations, with a strong emphasis on FinOps / Cost-to-Serve accountability and platform reliability at scale.This is a pivotal, visible role reporting directly to the CTO.The OpportunityYou'll shape the operational strategy and modernise how the platform is managed, driving reliability, observability, automation, and cost efficiency. You'll manage the Head of DevOps and work closely with Product, Engineering and Finance to ensure the platform is secure, resilient, scalable and commercially efficient.You'll inherit a capable, motivated team and a culture that embraces speed, improvement, and accountability.What You'll LeadOperations strategy across DevOps, IT, Security and Platform OperationsReliability, performance and availability of a cloud-native SaaS platform (AWS / serverless)Cost-to-Serve ownership and cloud cost visibility / optimisationMaturing observability, incident management & operational governanceUplifting DevOps engineering practices and platform automation, use of AIVendor & outsourced IT partner managementSupporting a high-change organisation scaling for enterprise successWhat You BringSenior leadership experience across Operations / Platform / DevOpsStrong experience working in B2B SaaS environmentStrong AWS knowledge and experience with modern delivery & automation practicesDemonstrable FinOps / cloud cost management experienceComfortable transforming systems, processes, and culture at paceAbility to balance innovation with stability, scale and cost disciplineClear communication and stakeholder leadership skillsBonus but not required:PE-backed scale-up experience, ISO27001 leadership, DORA/ITIL familiarity.Package & Working Model£120k–£130k base (depending on experience)Benefits package + 4.5-day work week (paid for 37.5 hours)Hybrid: 2 days per week in either Manchester or SurreyIf you're excited by building maturity, leading people through change, and influencing strategic scaling decisions, this is a role where you will make an immediate and lasting impact.
