**ROLE - Embedded IOT Engineer**
**LOCATION - Surrey**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY- £35,000 - 50,000 per annum dependent on experience**
My client works within the Electronics design sector/ IOT
**The Embedded IOT Engineer will ideally have the following background**:

- Real time C/C++ software/embedded SW design/IoTand development on a variety of platforms and environments including Linux and Microsoft Windows
- Software development experience in Linux, cross-platform development on MS Windows operating systems and/or an enthusiasm for learning these and other environments.
- Understanding of (or strong desire to understand) good software design, coding and documentation practices
- Excellent debug and troubleshooting skills
- communication interfaces and protocols CAN, Modbus TCP, UDP, TCP/IP, etc.)

**The Embedded IOT Engineer role will involve**:

- Analyzes functional requirements, assesses feasibility and translates to a product design
- Participates in and/or manages existing software product improvement projects
- Develops concepts and architecture for new software products
- Writes and tests protocols and design verification testing for company product lines. Conducts unit testing. Resolves issues as they arise from testing.
