You will be provided with on-the-job training using the latest software tools and will have exposure to various stages of schemes from initial concept through to construction. You will be expected to assist and support colleagues in the preparation of feasibility studies, scheme reports, and highway designs as part of your development to becoming a professionally qualified engineer. As a new apprentice within our Highways & Civils team you will have the opportunity to make your mark and influence the continuing growth of Jacobs.Here's what you'll needA minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points including grade B in A-level Mathematics or equivalentA keen interest in transportation and engineeringStrong communication and teamworking skillsA flexible and proactive self-starter who's passionate about developing new skillsThe ability to adapt and prioritise whilst juggling work and study prioritiesEnthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to solve real-world problemsEmpathy and listening skills to help you truly understand our clients' requirementsA well-rounded person – worked in a bar?
