Job DescriptionCompany Secretarial Assistant – London We’re working with a FTSE 250 organisation that is expanding its Corporate Secretarial team and it is looking for a Company Secretarial Assistant to join. This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio and grow your career within a fast-paced, ambitious business that’s committed to excellence in governance.Perks:Salary- £40-47k depending on experienceLondon City Office Performance-based bonusGenerous employer pension contributionsPrivate healthcare coverHealth cash planLife assuranceBuy/sell annual leave schemeStructured development pathway with opportunities for progressionWhat You’ll Be DoingKey responsibilities include:Conduct thorough reviews of company secretarial work, including board minutes and resolutions, shareholder resolutions and statutory filings, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsMonitor adherence to internal processes, standards and best practices, identifying any gaps or inconsistenciesEnsure that all statutory filings comply with the Companies Act and other relevant laws and regulationsMaintain oversight of electronic corporate records using Diligent Entities to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance and undertake any statutory filings with the Registrar of CompaniesWork closely with team members to provide feedback on their work, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring high-quality service deliverySupport the development of standardised templates, guidance notes and best practice frameworks to enhance efficiency and accuracy in corporate secretarial processesContribute to the development and refinement of internal procedures, ensuring they align with evolving legal and regulatory requirementsProvide coaching and training to team members on quality standards, governance requirements and best practices in company secretarial workProvide advice on corporate governance best practice and reviewing relevant documentationSupport professional development by sharing insights and feedback to enhance technical knowledge and skill levels within the teamConduct periodic reviews and refresher sessions to reinforce key compliance and quality expectationsSupport the development of quality assurance reporting metrics to track performance and areas for improvementAbout You:We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive professional who is keen to grow within the company secretarial field.You will ideally have:CGI part or fully qualified (or other professional qualification if relevant experience can be demonstrated)Collaborating with peers and sharing knowledgePro-actively requesting and acting upon feedback received on the quality of work producedInterested?
