We are currently working in partnership with a housing association that provides affordable housing for people across London and the South of England, who are looking to appoint a permanent Director of Governance, Risk & Regulatory Compliance.This will be a full-time position, offer a salary of £115,000 per annum. The role is also able to offer hybrid working, with the seniority of this role dictating occasional need to be on-site at a number of different locations across the South of England. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Managing senior leaders across the key functions, overseeing a multimillion-pound budget, and acting as a key advisor to Executive and Group BoardsShaping policy to steering regulatory engagementChampioning regulatory excellence and board assuranceLeading strategic servicing of Boards and CommitteesOverseeing legal services and compliance frameworksDriving risk culture and corporate assuranceInfluencing policy, ethics, and data protectionExperience required:Senior leadership experience in governance, legal, risk or complianceProven track record with Boards, regulators and complex portfoliosDeep knowledge of UK housing regulation, company law, and assurance frameworksChartered Governance Professional (CGIUKI) or equivalent qualification will be favourably looked onWorking hours:37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
