You'll be at the heart of our mission to deliver assurance across our Marine sector. This is a dynamic opportunity to influence quality standards and drive continuous improvement across multiple sites. You'll help ensure our Quality Management System (QMS) is robust, effective, and aligned with our commitment to excellence in defence and engineering.Day-to-day you'll have the following responsibilities:Leading internal audits and producing comprehensive reports that drive improvementSupporting site teams with external audit preparation and post-audit actionsAdvising on assurance matters and attending local management meetingsCreating routine and ad-hoc reports on audit performance and non-conformitiesBenchmarking best practices and sharing insights across teams.This role is full time, 37 hours per week Monday to Friday and provides agile working with 3 days minimum expected in the office but more as required.Essential Experience Of The Quality AuditorSolving problems using a range of quality and improvement toolsMaking informed decisions based on available dataManaging risk and multitasking effectivelyMotivating teams and handling challenging conversationsCommunicating clearly with stakeholders at all levelsQualifications For The Quality AuditorEducated to Level 2 in the National Qualification Framework (e.g. GCSEs A*–C or equivalent)Completed a relevant technical or vocational qualification at Level 3 (e.g. NVQ, Advanced Apprenticeship)Demonstrated internal audit training and experienceLead Auditor qualification in ISO9001:2015Experience in quality assurance within a Defence or Land environmentCandidate will require driving licence as likely substantial travel involved.Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
