**Job Overview**
At Transport for London, we want all our colleagues to demonstrate our core values and be caring, open and adaptable. This is especially important to our Quality, Safety and Security Assurance team because of our unique position in the organisation. Our coverage includes internal operations, projects, engineering, and the whole supply chain. You will join a diverse team of professional auditors to deliver a varied plan of audits of the internal management system and external supply chain. As part of this team, you will be leading audits from the annual plan from start to finish. We are looking for an organised self-starter who can ensure delivery while managing a variety of stakeholders including senior management.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Plan and deliver audits as a solo auditor and as part of a team.
- Prepare audit scopes and programmes and organise all sessions required for each audit.
- Document audit work accurately, evaluating the evidence to draw conclusions and draft clear and concise reports.
- Identify significant issues with the efficiency or effectiveness of the management system and ensure that owners take effective action to address it;
- Deliver audits of the TfL supply chain against contract requirements including review of supplier management systems.
- Engage with stakeholders to plan and organise assignments and share good practice and lessons from across the organisation.

- Organised and focussed on delivery through planning, conducting and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator who can present complicated information in a clear and concise fashion.
- Ability to quickly understand business areas and the risks and challenges that they face.
- Can present views convincingly and robustly to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation whilst still keeping a good relationship.
**Essential Knowledge and Experience**
- Hold a relevant professional audit qualification e.g., IRCA lead auditor;
- Experience in auditing management systems internally or in the supply chain.
- Knowledge of management system standards such as ISO9001:2015.
- Degree level of education or relevant professional experience.
**Desirable Knowledge and Experience**
- Experience of working in a similar industry or large public organisation.
- Experience of working for TfL, it’s supply chain or a similar transport organisation.
- Experience in providing consultancy or advisory work on relevant topics e.g. HSE, quality, asset management;
- Knowledge of risk management principles and practice.
