This is a key role within a leading financial institution, providing expert sanctions advice across multiple jurisdictions and business lines.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide sanctions advisory across business lines, ensuring compliance with sanctions regimes.Advise on legislation and sanctions regimes (UN, EU, UK, US) and anti-bribery matters.Apply deep subject matter expertise to provide practical, risk-based sanctions guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.Conduct assessments and deliver clear, accurate recommendationsMaintain market-standard record keepingCommunicate risk insights effectively, both verbally and in writingDevelop procedures to support sanctions complianceProduce risk assessments for new and existing exposuresEnhance the financial crime frameworkThe successful candidate will have deep knowledge of US, UK, EU economic and anti-terrorism sanctions laws and regulatory expectations. Strong understanding of international sanctions risk management standards and industry best practices.
