We recognise the market need to be flexible and responsive to meet the demands of a constantly changing landscape, focusing on low to medium volume high mix product profiles with localised support.The client is searching for a Conformal Coating Operative to join the existing team responsible for the coating, inspection and touch-up to the surfaces of printed circuit boards ensuring adherence to required technical and quality standards for a variety of major OEM's.The Role:This position will be responsible for the coating, inspection and touch-up to the surfaces of printed circuit boards, utilising specific surface preparation and coating techniques and fully comply with the required build standards.Main Responsibilities:Conformal coating of PCBs ensuring all processes are stringently adhered to and any gaps or suggestions for process improvements are made to your immediate supervisorPreparation of solvent based materials in line with manufacturer's instructionsAbility to accurately identify coating material to ensure correct material used at all timesMasking and de-masking and cleaning, as neededAdherence to work instructionsAccurate setting of temperature controls on ovensMaintenance of accurate production recordsRoutine cleaning and maintenance of toolsCompliance with the company H&S and Quality standards and proceduresAble to programme conformal coating machinesAble to mentor othersSkills and experience:Previous experience of conformal coating in an electronic manufacturer essentialCertification to IPC-A-610 desirableAble to follow Customer DrawingsESD AwarenessAttention to detailTeam PlayerExcellent communication skills
