The client is searching for a Conformal Coating Operative to join the existing team responsible for the coating, inspection and touch-up of the surfaces of printed circuit boards ensuring adherence to required technical and quality standards for a variety of major OEM’s. The Role This position will be responsible for the coating, inspection and touch-up of the surfaces of printed circuit boards, utilising specific surface preparation and coating techniques and fully complying with the required build standards. Main Responsibilities Conformal coating of PCBs ensuring all processes are stringently adhered to and any gaps or suggestions for process improvements are made to your immediate supervisor Preparation of solvent based materials in line with manufacturer’s instructions Ability to accurately identify coating material to ensure correct material used at all times Masking and de‑masking and cleaning, as needed Adherence to work instructions Accurate setting of temperature controls on ovens Maintenance of accurate production records Routine cleaning and maintenance of tools Compliance with the company H&S and Quality standards and procedures Able to programme conformal coating machines Able to mentor others Skills and Experience Previous experience of conformal coating in an electronic manufacturer essential Certification to IPC‑A‑610 desirable Able to follow Customer Drawings Team Player Other Details Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Industries: Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at MPI Limited by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
