Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world.As an Accuracy Checking Technician working within the in-house pharmacy you will be responsible for providing accurate final checking on homecare prescriptions, providing technical dispensing assistance to the the Responsible Pharmacists.Working 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 9.30am to 6pm , you must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours as and when required to meet our service requirements which may be of an urgent medical nature.NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential for this role.We offer a wide range of benefits including 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) building to 33 days (including bank holidays) in the sixth full holiday year and a company pension scheme with 5% company contribution, Private Healthcare, UPS Perks at Work scheme, and an Employee Assist Programme.For successful Accuracy Checking applicants, Polar Speed will process basic disclosure criminal record checks.Key responsibilities:Comply with all required GPhC standards for registration as an Accuracy Checking TechnicianTo carry out final checking of dispensed items in accordance with approved protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Supervise and participate in the dispensing and supply of medical products in accordance with the requirements of: The Medicine Act, Medicines, Ethics and Practice guide, Good Distribution Practice.Ensure all activities meet and integrate with Quality Management Systems, Health and Safety requirements, COSSH regulations and environmental policies.Actively drive the Clinical Governance standards within the Pharmacy servicesAssist in all regular performance auditsActively participate in the training and development of the Pharmacy teamSkills:Meticulous and thorough with an excellent attention to detailsDemonstrate influencing skills to ensure highest standardsAbility to work to tight deadlines, whilst motivating others to achieve success.*Self motivated to deliver continuous improvements, whilst demonstrating a clear patient focus*Demonstrate self audit and accept responsibility for actionsSpecialist Knowledge:NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services SkillsRegistration with General Pharmaceutical CouncilJBRP1_UKTJ
