Job DescriptionYour new companyA long-established building services consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team. With over two decades of experience, this firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical design solutions across private sector clients, including commercial, retail, industrial, residential, and hospitality. Operating under an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) model, this consultancy fosters a collaborative and inclusive culture where every team member plays a role in shaping the future of the business.This role offers a 4-day working week, providing greater flexibility and work-life balance while maintaining full-time pay and benefits.Your new roleDesign and specification of sustainable and cost-effective mechanical systemsSite visits for appraisals, surveys, and condition reportsEnsuring mechanical systems meet performance, efficiency, and regulatory standardsPreparation of technical documentation including schedules, drawings, and reportsHVAC system design, domestic water services, and drainage layoutsDelivery of high-quality work with strong attention to detailWhat you'll need to succeedMinimum 2 years' experience in mechanical building services design, either with a consultancy or contractor.Proficiency in MEP Revit and CADLevel 4 qualification in a building services or mechanical engineering-related disciplineStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and time managementAnalytical thinker with effective problem-solving abilitiesCollaborative team playerFull UK Driving LicenceWhat you'll get in returnDon't miss out on this exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking, employee-owned business where your voice matters and your contributions are recognised.
