Facilities Manager – Lead, Improve, and Elevate Our Facilities Function Location: Kidderminster Industry: Advanced Engineering / Manufacturing Level: Experienced Manager Start Date: ASAPSalary: Up to £52,000 + excellent bens.We're looking for a proactive, people-focused Facilities Manager to take ownership of site infrastructure, facilities operations, and team leadership across a large industrial environment.You'll ensure the site remains safe, compliant, efficient, and fully aligned with strategic business objectives. This is a role for someone who enjoys driving operational excellence, managing stakeholders, and leading a high-performing team. What you'll be responsible for - Facilities Manager Ensuring the site, infrastructure, and buildings are maintained to protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of all personnelEnsuring compliance with all corporate and legislative regulations, including health & safety requirementsOverseeing all building functions — ensuring seamless functionality of services, utilities, and facilitiesManaging building projects and renovations: installations, refurbishments, upgrades, and new buildsResponding swiftly to emergencies or urgent issues and coordinating the resolutionManaging performance of both in-house teams and service partners against SLAsLeading, developing, and motivating team members to deliver high standards of performanceBuilding and managing relationships with stakeholders and internal customersDeveloping strategies to improve efficiency, optimise service delivery, and reduce costsLeading change initiatives while minimising disruption to core operations What you'll bring - Facilities Manager Essential Qualifications:HNC or HND in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringModern apprenticeship advantageous but not essentialDesirable Qualifications:IOSHGreen or Black Belt certification (Lean / Six Sigma) Experience we're looking for - Facilities Manager Essential:Proven Facilities Management experience within an industrial or manufacturing environmentExperience using CAFM systemsExperience managing both hard and soft FM service providersDesirable:Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, RCA)Understanding of building processes and construction principlesKnowledge of compliance and relevant legislation You'll thrive in this role if you:Are a confident problem solver and troubleshooting comes naturallyHave strong project or programme management capabilitiesCommunicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writingAre highly organised and hands-onAre comfortable using digital systems and FM tools Why this role matters:You'll be at the heart of site operations — leading people, shaping standards, driving improvements, and ensuring the environment is safe, compliant, and operating at its best.If you're ready to take ownership, lead teams, and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic engineering environment, we'd love to hear from you.
