Job DescriptionSenior Hydraulic ModellerLocation: Flexible (Hybrid Options Available) Salary: Competitive plus excellent benefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join a leading consultancy delivering innovative wastewater and integrated hydraulic modelling projects across the UK. This role offers genuine technical influence, strong professional development and the chance to lead meaningful work that supports sustainable water management.The Role As a Senior Hydraulic Modeller, you'll take responsibility for project delivery from survey planning to final reporting. You'll lead a small team, oversee data collection and ensure modelling work is accurate, compliant and efficient. You'll also engage directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical, value-driven solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and manage wastewater and surface water modelling projects.Supervise and mentor junior engineers and modellers.Plan and oversee surveys and data collection activities.Build, verify and audit hydraulic models using ICM / InfoWorks (1D and 2D).Analyse outputs and identify innovative, cost-effective solutions.Prepare clear, concise reports and client updates.Coordinate project delivery, budgeting and resource planning.Maintain strong health and safety and quality standards.About YouDegree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline.At least six years' practical experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling.Advanced understanding of ICM / InfoWorks (1D and 2D).Experienced in supervising, checking and reviewing technical work.Strong communication and client engagement skills.Member of a relevant professional body or working toward chartership.Why This Role?
