We carry 70% of fresh and 40% of ambient food stock into our sites for onward delivery to our storesOur aim is to be the default option for all Asda suppliers by offering first class service and lowest cost whilst generating revenue for ALSThe operations team are based in Rochdale and have a dedicated office with first class facilities. We believe in an open culture where respect and engagement are embedded into our ways of workingPurposeThe role is to plan and execute the primary plan to deliver first class service to our depots and storesResponsibilitiesExecute planning activities for the primary network whilst within a team of planners who cover 7 days per week of activity.Achieve specific goals in your area of responsibility by working with internal and external customersAnalyze and use data to improve service to our customersSkillsWork at intermediate level toAnalyze potential solutions and create recommendations based on the expected benefits, costs, and overall value to key stakeholdersInterpret, contribute to or lead business case creation with all departmentsProduce updates and best practice on complex MS documents, databases on departmental systems.Resolve complex queries from internal and external customers and suppliers by providing information on policies and proceduresDevelop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and imformal training and coaching.
