Their team is known for being caring and considerate; they go the extra mile for clients, supporting them at every stage of the claims process, with the objective of obtaining maximum compensation. They deals with a range of Clinical Negligence including birth injuries, cosmetic surgery, dental/ hospital negligence, medical misdiagnosis and medical / surgical negligence.Main Responsibilities of the Role:\tReport directly to Department Director\tProfessional pro-active approach, strong client care skills and a sensitive and sympathetic understanding of clients’ needs\tResponsible for all aspects of Clinical Negligence work and on occasions, where appropriate providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members\tAbility to manage appropriate caseload types and complexities\tAssisting with casework including dealing with a range of Clinical Negligence cases that have been issued at court. including excellent understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and protocols\tAttending clients, taking instructions and preparing cases\tDealing with correspondence\tDrafting schedules of loss\tReviewing Medical Records\tMaintaining accurate time costing procedures\tImplementing any recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews ensuring that these are dealt with promptly.Key Skills Required:\t2 - 6 years of PQE in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Law, with a proven track record of managing complex cases and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.\tMust have a clean, valid Practicing Certificate at the time of applying\tCommitted team player and adapt well to new challenges\tPrevious proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators is an advantage\tProfessional with a pro-active approach; excellent client care skills and ability to deal with client matters in a sensitive manner and resolve complicated practicalities\tExcellent networking and communication skills with the ability to successfully market the Company and generate new business\tExcellent analytical and organizational skills\tAbility to use own initiative and sound judgment\tWorking knowledge of Clinical Negligence work and have the ability to service privately funded cases\tExperience in own advocacy is an advantage\tExcellent IT Skills -familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document.This list is not exhaustive and there may be other duties as reasonably required.About Gemini Recruitment and Equal Opportunities:Gemini Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specialising in legal recruitment.
