Delegated Authority Technician – London MarketLocation: London / HybridSalary: Up to £70,000 + bonus + comprehensive benefitsWe're representing one of the UK's largest and most progressive insurance broking groups, looking for a Delegated Authority Technician to join their London Market operations team.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of binder management and coverholder operations, and who wants to build a long-term career in Delegated Authority.The OpportunityYou'll support the business in managing underwriting agreements — ensuring that all binders, binding authority agreements, and delegated authority contracts meet regulatory, market, and internal standards.You'll work closely with Underwriters, Operations, and Compliance to keep processes efficient, accurate, and compliant, while developing your technical expertise across Lloyd's systems, bordereaux reporting, and audit management.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and maintain underwriting agreements and endorsements in line with regulatory and internal requirementsSupport coverholder onboarding, approvals, and due diligence using systems such as ATLAS, DCOM, QA Tool, Crystal, and DDMMaintain accurate and up-to-date records across binder and delegated authority databasesAssist in preparing risk and written bordereaux for capacity providers and carrier partnersCoordinate and support audit processes and follow up on recommendations through DAM (or successor systems)Produce and maintain management information (MI), reports, and trackers to support governance and oversightContribute to system testing (UAT) for new agreements, products, or functionalityWork collaboratively with Underwriters and management to improve processes and ensure best practiceRespond promptly to internal and external queries, managing multiple tasks effectivelyAbout YouExperience in delegated authority, binder management, or technical operations within the Lloyd's / London MarketKnowledge of coverholder operations, bordereaux management, and delegated authority governanceFamiliarity with Lloyd's systems (ATLAS, DCOM, DDM, QA Tool, Crystal)Organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise multiple tasksClear communicator with a collaborative mindsetSkilled in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Ideally educated to A-level (or equivalent) with strong numeracy skillsWhat You'll GetSalary up to £70,000Bonus scheme and comprehensive benefitsHybrid working modelStructured career development and technical trainingA collaborative environment that encourages growth, innovation, and continuous improvementIf you're looking to grow your career in Delegated Authority within a respected London Market brokerage that invests in its people, we'd like to hear from you.
