Job DescriptionPERTEMPS HAVE A NEW EXCITING OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE:Estimator (Small Works) Needed ASAPThe Role:As a Fire and Security Estimator, you will be responsible for designing and estimating Fire, Intruder, Access Control, CCTV and Accessible Alarm Systems for multiple organisations. You will have a focus on our contracted customers, ensuring a fast, accurate and professional resolution to all enquiries, relaying timely and accurate information to our customers. You will also use AutoCAD to design & modify systems, creating design plans, as fitted drawings & zone plans.The Candidate: SkillsetExcellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.Understanding of budgetary controls, business needs and a commercial awareness.Prior experience & knowledge in the design and presentation of complex fire and security systems.Experience and an understanding of using AutoCAD.Knowledge of fire regulations such as BS 5839 & BS 8629Main Duties:Creating bespoke quotations and design specifications for clients.Working with AutoCAD to create & update drawings, as well as producing as-fitted drawings & Fire Zone Plans from engineer sketches.Requesting accurate product specifications and prices from suppliers and distributors.Updating the Company System with relevant information from suppliers to provide accurate quotations and designs.Following up quotes with clients and liaising with the appropriate Account Manager on any customer specific queries.Preparing contracts that are won and setting these up on the system.Preparing and maintaining Operations and Maintenance Manuals for completed projects.Liaising with suppliers regarding the quality of our products, making sure we receive them in good condition and arranging returns of replacement when necessary.Responding quickly to all supplier and electrical contractor queries.Assisting the Senior Estimator & Purchaser to maintain a good working relationship with suppliers and electrical contractors.To ensure prompt and accurate processing of customer requests.If your skillset aligns with the above requirements, we want to hear from youJBRP1_UKTJ
