Job DescriptionEstimator (Rail)Salary bracket: £50,000 pa - £60,000 pa + car allowanceLocation: DoncasterOpportunity for an experienced Estimator (accustomed to working on Rail Projects), to join the Commercial Team of a multinational company in the Infrastructure Sector, to manage bids from inception to submission and navigate communication with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have: Strong previous experience as an Estimator ideally in Rail/ConstructionStrong IT skills (estimating software, CAD, etc.).Excellent negotiation, presentation, and multitasking abilities.Degree in Construction Management (or equivalent) and/or professional accreditation (RICS, ACostE, ICES) preferred.Main responsibilities involved in the role: Identify and develop tender opportunities for frameworks and rail projects.Analyse drawings, specifications, and rail standards to produce accurate estimates.Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, and project teams.Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to optimise pricing.Oversee tender documentation, site visits, and settlement meetings.Sound like the ideal next step in your career in the Rail Sector?
