With a strong commercial presence across retail, wholesale, and foodservice channels, they provide a wide range of core ingredients used daily by chefs, kitchens, and manufacturers throughout the UK.Operating in a fast-paced, price-sensitive environment, the business combines global sourcing capability with a sharp commercial edge, delivering high-volume food solutions to customers who depend on value, reliability, and supply chain agility.The business is entering its next phase of growth, with a specific focus on expanding its Foodservice and B2B Channel Footprint. As part of this strategy, they are now looking to appoint a proven commercial leader to take full ownership of the Foodservice and B2B channel.The OpportunityThis is a senior leadership role with full strategic and operational responsibility for the Foodservice channel across the UK.As Sales Director – Foodservice & B2B, you will define the commercial vision, shape the go-to-market strategy, and build long-term partnerships with wholesalers, buying groups, and national operators, alongside the total B2B Channel. You will manage a broad portfolio of commodity-led ingredients, delivering high-volume sales performance while building a channel primed for long-term growth.This is a commercially pivotal role that will allow you to shape a key business unit in an organisation with clear ambition and strong leadership.Your Key Responsibilities Build and execute the UK Foodservice & B2B channel strategy, driving growth across national, regional, and independent customers Lead the commercial agenda across wholesalers, buying groups, and contract caterers, owning senior customer relationships and negotiations Lead the commercial agenda across B2B / Manufacturing Channel- owning senior customer relationships and negotiations Develop dynamic sales plans that reflect commodity pricing, margin protection, and supply-side agility Collaborate closely with procurement, operations, and NPD to ensure customers receive consistent, value-driven ingredient solutions Build, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team focused on excellence in customer development Deliver commercial KPIs across volume, revenue, gross margin, and customer satisfaction, with full P&L accountability Act as a senior commercial voice in shaping the company's long-term Foodservice growth agendaThe Ideal Candidate A senior commercial or sales leader with experience in food ingredients, commodity trading, or value-driven food categories Track record of growing revenue and managing key partnerships within the Foodservice, Wholesale, OOH sectors &/or the B2B Channel. Strong commercial acumen, particularly around price volatility, value engineering, and trading agility Skilled in negotiation and relationship management with large, multi-site customers or buying groups P&L responsibility experience in a high-volume, price-sensitive food business A team builder and motivator, capable of driving pace, discipline, and results across a growing commercial teamWhy Apply?
