Based in Cheadle, Cheshire, our 750 colleagues help our customers throughout the UK, backed by the power of a £7 billion loan book.Job DescriptionAs a Customer and Risk Account Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial calculations, reporting and account amendments within a controlled framework. The role involves maintaining and testing financial models, processing customer account changes and supporting internal teams with precise calculations and reporting.As a Customer and Risk Account Specialist we are looking for someone to:Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and financial models.Perform manual calculations and integrate them into semi-automated Excel models.Analyse customer accounts, including interest-based calculations and account closure processes.Process amendments to customer accounts, including credit file adjustments and data corrections.Respond to ad-hoc queries and provide calculation support to internal customers.Review and process daily BAU requests efficiently.Create and run exception reports as part of the Customer Strategy Control Framework.Assist in testing and reporting on customer account management tools and features.Periodically test and maintain existing and new financial calculators/modelsQualificationsEssential:Advanced Microsoft ExcelStrong mathematical competency and analytical thinkingExcellent accuracy and attention to detailTeam Orientated with strong collaboration skills Effective communication skillsDesirable:Experience with VBA skills for financial modelling and automation Experience with BI tools and database managementBackground in risk management, customer account operations or financial analysisFamiliarity with data validation, reporting and control frameworksIf you feel you have some of the skills mentioned above, but not all, please do still apply and we would be happy to have a further discussion with you in regards to your suitability for the role.Additional InformationTogether embraces diversity and inclusion, and are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
