We also make a difference: Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy has supported communities for 40 years, and we were recognised by Which? for exceptional client care during the pandemic.About The RoleProviding a world-class, personal customer service, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge, and building quality client relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for Abercrombie & Kent and Harrods.Demonstrate competency of destination knowledge worldwide and product (Tailor Made, Small Group Journeys, LECs, Private Jet, Inspiring Expeditions)Meet or exceed established sales goalsConduct face to face client sales meetings and appointmentsDevelop and maintain a network of existing and new clientele through outbound sales calls, emails and in person appointments (including international) in order to build relationshipsBuilding Client base of repeat businessPro-active engagement of databaseExude the Harrods' standards: manners, presentation and serviceContribute to and attend client eventsSupport with partnerships with other Harrods' concessions Actively manage guest relationships with a variety of touch points (ie acknowledge birthdays, anniversaries, etc)Design custom tailor made itineraries in consultation with guests for FIT and custom groupsEvaluate pricing received from DMC or Third Party suppliers to ensure value (A&K value and price value)Communicate and advocate product and price value in support of successful conversionsConfirm required services with DMC and Third Party suppliersConfidently use the CRMManage all financial aspects of booking in Travel Studio according to company guidelinesEnsure all Travel Studio booking details are complete and accurate in accordance withdepartment guidelinesMaximize conversions by following up on Option Quote and Quote Pending bookings in established timeframeResearch flight schedules, hotel availability and other Amadeus procedures as necessaryMeet or exceed established A&K Service standardsMaintain a minimum number of hours available on the phone per department guidelinesCollaborate with Sales Assistants to coordinate all pre and final documents, and assist with guest/TA contactCollaborate with internal departments to facilitate booking process and salesAssist Guest Relations on post tour issues to ensure guest satisfaction is maintainedSales projects as determined by managementAbout YouPrevious travel experienceLuxury retail experienceWhat We OfferCompany pension plan from start of employment, with employer contributions increasing after 5 and 10 years of service 25 days annual leave – in addition to bank holidays, plus the ability to buy an additional 5 days or sell 5 days Discounted trips through A&K Travel Group Travel Benefit Program (includes friends and family) Discounted Gym Membership – we offer a contribution of up to £35 a month at either Virgin Active Gym (London) or to other gyms through GymFlex.
