Job DescriptionPipes Assembly TechnicianSalary: Up to £30,000 per annumLocation: Near Gerrards Cross, BuckinghamshireHours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–Midday (37 hours per week)Start Date: ASAPType: PermanentThis is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established engineering business near Gerrards Cross, supporting the production of safety-critical components in a busy workshop environment.As a Pipes Assembly Technician, you’ll be responsible for shaping, assembling, and inspecting precision metallic pipework and small assemblies, playing a hands-on role in producing key sub-components for larger systems.Benefits:Up to £30,000 annual salary25 days holiday plus bank holidaysExcellent pension schemeFree parkingLunchtime finish on FridaysOngoing training and development opportunitiesPipes Assembly Technician Responsibilities:Interpreting engineering drawings and build instructionsCutting metal parts to size using electric saws and hand toolsBending and forming intricate pipework using workshop machineryCompleting assemblies with adhesives and handheld toolsFollowing SOPs and quality standards throughout the build processRecording work and tracking progress using SAP (ERP system)Conducting visual inspections and checking part conformancePipes Assembly Technician Requirements:Confident reading and interpreting technical drawingsExperience with workshop tools and machinery (e.g., saws, drills, pipe benders, adhesives)Good manual dexterity and attention to detailPrevious experience in plumbing, piping, or mechanical assembly (advantageous)Basic computer literacy – ERP/MRP system experience preferred (SAP ideal)To apply, simply click the apply button.Application Process: All successful candidates will undergo background checks including identity, employment and address history, immigration status, and criminal record.
