Flowstore has been the only dedicated UK manufacturer of carton flow systems since 1984. The company has continued to develop as industrial needs have evolved greatly since then.

In 1993 Flowstore also became the first UK company to use tubular construction systems originating from Japanese kaizen and lean manufacturing specialists. These can solve all kinds of Lean manufacturing storage, assembly and production line requirements, using steel and aluminium tubes, connecting joints, roller tracks and accessories. They permit great flexibility and re-usability.

**Location**:

- Cowley, UK

**Hours**:

- 37.5 hours per week, with the opportunity of overtime.
- Mon-Fri 8am - 4pm

**Background to the role**

Flowstore are currently seeking an assembler to work within the production area at Flowstore. He/She would be working within one of two teams, responsible for assembling our product, ensuring production targets, to a high standard, meeting our strict quality controls
- Assemble product using hand tools
- Follow standards put in place to ensure high quality
- Read CAD drawings to assemble solutions, reading notes and instructions
- Assemble to a 1mm tolerance

**Experience**:

- Be flexible and adaptive to the changing needs of production workloads
- Ability to read a tape measure (mm) essential
- Experience working with hand tools

**Background**:
Knowledge of assembling products preferred, experience working within a manufacturing business and knowledge of pipe racking systems is not essential, but highly desirable.
