Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Scarborough. As an Assistant Business Manager at Scarborough College, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the school's business functions. Responsibilities include managing budgets and finance, supporting administrative activities, maintaining compliance with school policies and regulations, and liaising with staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operational management. The role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently. QualificationsStrong financial and budget management skillsEffective organizational and administrative abilitiesAbility to liaise and communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and other stakeholdersKnowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for educational institutionsProficiency in tools and systems for financial reporting and operations managementExcellent problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skillsRelevant experience in business management and familiarity with the education sector is a plusA degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred
