About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Business Services Manager to lead our Finance Team and drive excellence across all financial operations.

This is a highly impactful role responsible for financial integrity, performance, compliance, and strategic financial guidance across BallyCara.

Reporting to the Corporate Services Director, you will lead a talented team including a Financial Accountant, Corporate Accountant, Senior Financial Services Officer, and Payroll Officer. This role requires a decisive leader with strong technical capability, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Finance Team, setting clear expectations, building capability, and fostering accountability.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including management accounts, statutory reporting, payroll, taxation, treasury, asset management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and financial integrity, maintaining confidence with auditors, regulators, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow performance, delivering accurate, actionable insights aligned with strategic goals.
  • Partner with Executive and operational leaders, providing trusted financial advice that supports organisational planning and decision-making.
  • Strengthen systems, reporting, and business intelligence, championing innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a senior leader by modelling BallyCara's SONA values, supporting organisational culture, and contributing to safety, quality, and strategic governance.


Skills And Experiences

About You

You will thrive in this role if you are an experienced and values-driven finance leader who enjoys balancing operational excellence with strategic impact.

You will bring:

  • CPA or CA qualification and 10+ years' experience in senior finance leadership.
  • Strong financial and management accounting capability, modelling, and analysis expertise.
  • Experience leading teams, building capability, and driving performance.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with proven experience enhancing systems and processes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence positive outcomes.
  • High-level time management, organisational skills, and the ability to deliver under competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, M365, and business intelligence tools.

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience in aged care, wellness, disability, or not-for-profit sectors.
  • Passion for positive ageing and supporting communities.
