Job DescriptionTechnical Drawing Engineer - Yacht InteriorAre you an engineer with an eye for technical precision drawings and a passion for creating exceptional yacht design? We’re seeking an Technical Drawing Engineer to join our clients expert team in Finland, contributing to the overall design and development of world-class sailing yacht furniture and interior componentsYour RoleIn this position, you’ll be responsible for creating drawings for engineering interior solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and craftsmanship. The work includes 3D modelling, material specification, and detailed furniture engineering to support efficient and cost-effective production. You’ll collaborate closely with other engineering, production, and procurement teams to deliver accurate and production-ready interior drawings for both custom-built and serial production yachts. THIS IS NOT AN INTERIOR DESIGN ROLE.Key Responsibilities * Develop technical engineering drawings for the joinery workshop. 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Siemens NX (or similar software). * Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), purchase plans, and collaborate with production teams and suppliers. * Contribute to both custom and series yacht projects, working independently or as part of a project team. * Work closely with internal departments and external consultants to ensure precise, manufacturable designs.Qualifications and Skills * Relevant educational background, such as a degree in construction, mechanical, or interior engineering. * Some prior experience in a related role; motivated graduates with strong technical and design aptitude are also encouraged to apply. * Proficiency in Siemens NX or comparable 3D design software; familiarity with SAP is an advantage. * Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative working style. * Full professional proficiency in English; Swedish and/or Finnish language skills are an asset. * Willingness to relocate to Pietarsaari, Finland if not already based in the area (no remote working)What We Offer * Craftsmanship & Innovation: Work with advanced design and production methods in a facility dedicated to excellence in yacht building. * Professional Growth: Collaborate with an experienced, multidisciplinary team and gain exposure to international projects. * Inspiring Environment: Be part of a workplace that values precision, creativity, and teamwork. * Benefits & Lifestyle: Competitive salary (based on experience), wellness and culture benefits, bike program, and opportunities to join test sailing trips.
