Job DescriptionAbout the RoleLooking for a role where craftsmanship, pride in your work, and stability come together?This is a hands-on, workshop-based role where you'll be building and repairing vehicle bodies to the highest standards - including new-builds, refurbs, and fitting of specialist components. Every build is different, with no production line monotony.You'll be part of a skilled team in a fast-paced, high-quality environment, where safety, precision, and customer satisfaction are core values.What You'll Be DoingBuilding commercial vehicle bodies from start to finishCarrying out repairs and retrofits to customer specificationsFitting tail lifts, shutter doors, lashing rails, grab handles, flooring, and moreReading and working from build sheets and technical drawingsUsing hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment safely and effectivelyCollaborating with other departments to ensure smooth workflowProtecting customer vehicles and delivering clean, secure workEnsuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standardsMaintaining accurate records of time, materials, and work carried outContributing ideas for improvements and mentoring junior team membersWhat We're Looking ForExperience in vehicle body building, coachwork, or commercial vehicle fittingConfident with power tools, general fabrication, and working to technical drawingsA strong eye for detail, pride in your work, and a safe, methodical approachOrganised, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to share skills and support others in the workshopWhy Join?This is not just a job - it's a long-term opportunity to join a growing team that values skilled hands, steady pace, and a good attitude.
