What's the role? This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the establishment of Southampton entity and become a key member of our team. The role sits within the Treasury Management department and will report to the Senior Manager. **This is a fixed-term contract position for 12 months**What you'll be doing:Perform daily cash reconciliations, ensuring transactions are settled in a timely mannerBook expenses in the internal accounting system within agreed timescalesMonitor and manage outstanding / overdue paymentsEnsure all supporting documentation is received and filed as per internal proceduresPrepare payments in line with received documentationOther day-to-day administrative tasks as required The ideal background for this role:University degreeBasic competency in cash management systems would be an advantageKnowledge of accounting platform would be an advantageCompetency in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent written communication skillsHighly organizedAutonomous and proactiveAttention to detailAbility to work in a rapidly changing environmentLead by example and demonstrate firm valuesResult-orientated with a sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering quality workRole Location/Hybrid ScheduleThis role can be based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual's preferences and circumstances.
