Job DescriptionAre you ready for the next step in your career?We are looking for a skilled Senior Technician to step into our client's forward-thinking consultancy, in a permanent position, to continue their ongoing commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will be working on a hybrid basis, working three days a week, from their main office near Portsmouth. This is an incredible opportunity to build and expand your expertise and experience across a range of sectors.-Competitive salary (depending on experience).-Company pension scheme, hybrid working arrangement, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities.Responsibilities:-Produce and develop in-depth drawings, documentation, calculations, and project specifications for a wide range of multidisciplinary projects.-Support design processes from early concept creation through to construction and implementation, with alignment with RIBA stages.-Conduct site visits, inspections, and reviews, ensuring that all project works comply with design intent, whilst monitoring and updating risk and design assessments.-Collaborate with project professionals, and internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate project solutions, whilst identifying and resolving issues.-Ensure quality control at a high standard, full compliance with company and industry systems, and accurate document management and maintenance.-Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, nurturing progression and development, whilst ensuring accurate and up to date documentation is maintained.Requirements: -Extensive demonstratable experience as a Senior Technician, or a similar position, delivering and overseeing a variety of projects across a range sectors.-Proficient technical drawing abilities, with a strong attention to detail, and a sound acknowledgment of BIM/CAD principles and workflows.-Strong proficiency in the use of relevant design software tools, such as Microdrainage, AutoCAD, Site3D, and Civil3D.-Significant understanding of civil engineering design standards, and key industry principles, regulations, legislation, and codes.-Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with project professionals, whilst maintaining a problem-solving mindset
