Events Coordinator

We're currently recruiting for a talented Events Co-ordinator to join us at our venues in Southport.
Located on the popular Lord Street, The Bold Hotel is a fantastic Boutique Hotel with 23 Bedrooms and an amazing function room, which holds up to 200 people. We have also opened The Grand, which is an amazing venue and has events space for up to 250 people.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to work directly for an established company, as well as furthering their career in the hotel industry.
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, outgoing individual to join our well established team to further enhance our offering. You will be working directly with Senior Management and the Operational Team to ensure that service standards are met, improved and maintained on a consistent basis.
**Requirements**:
- Previous, proven experience within an events environment.
- We require you to meet prospective clients at the initial enquiry and professionally organise their event at the Hotel.
- Including maximising revenue opportunities
- Available to work weekends, predominantly to meet and greet Bride & Grooms that you have liaised with from initial appointment right up until their big day.
- Take ownership to ensure service standards are met and maintained where possible.
- To work alongside the operational team to ensure that the function room is always set up ready for any viewings or the next event. This element of the job, is essential to the success of our already busy function business.
- Impeccable attention to detail and forward planning.
- Be confident whilst dealing with customers.
**The Package**
- Full time, permanent position.
- 28 days Holiday per year.
- Salary based on experience.
