**Role Overview**: As the Garden Maintenance Team Leader, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating and supervising a maintenance team, reporting to the Design and Horticulture Manager. Your leadership will be instrumental in orchestrating tasks, working to and contributing to maintenance schedules, and ensuring the optimal health and aesthetics of clients' gardens and landscapes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and mentor a team of garden and landscape maintenance professionals, setting standards of excellence and providing ongoing guidance.
- Collaborate seamlessly to and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules, encompassing tasks such as grass cutting and lawn treatment, hedge cutting, weeding, pruning, planting, fertilisation, irrigation, and pest management.
- Conduct routine assessments to identify plant health issues, pest infestations, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Manage and oversee the inventory, maintenance, and availability of tools, equipment, and essential supplies.
- Foster constructive client relationships, offering authoritative insights on garden and landscape preservation and care.
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimise team performance, productivity.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated expertise in garden and landscape maintenance and horticulture.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role, underscored by effective team management and communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills, coupled with a keen aptitude for task prioritisation and workflow management.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills, embodying professionalism in interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Relevant horticultural certifications or academic credentials are desirable. A minimum qualification of Horticulture NVQ 2 (or similar), full spraying certificates, and a full UK driving license will be essential, as will experience operating a wide range of garden machinery.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £5.00-£16.00 per hour
