Logistics, trade & compliance, shipment duties and general administration within A&C Aberdeen. This role will also include additional duties to provide absent/sickness cover in purchasing department and administration at times when required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor Logistics E-mail and act as appropriate
- Provide a first point of contact for all enquiries associated with international logistics
- Liaise with Goods In to ensure that all documentation is logged and scanned, and that shipping database is accurately maintained
- Liaise with freight forwarders and provide clearance instructions as requested
- Carry out the maintenance of Rotation Register and monitor documentation and the movement of goods under customs control
- Check monthly MSS reports and follow-up on missing documentation
- Book freight, co-ordinate shipping information and paperwork and maintain electronic records for dispatch of goods from the facility
- Ensure all HMRC related documents and records are correct prior to shipment to eliminate any delay
- Complete Import/Export Audits for each Import/Export and complete appropriate corrective actions
- Prepare and submit to finance EthosEnergy’ s monthly Intratstat declaration
- Prepare and submit Diversion to Home Use Entries to HMRC
- Provide a first point of contact for trade compliance and collate logistics data for Trade Compliance Leader
- Co-ordinate vendor relationships to improve efficiencies and costs
- Other duties as specified by line manager
- Prepare and submit EthosEnergy’ s quarterly IPR declaration to Trade Compliance Leader
- Prepare scrap declarations for submission to HMRC
- Purchasing, reporting and general administration duties to cover for team mates at times required.

**Required Skills / Knowledge**:

- Ability to plan, prioritise & organise working in a structured and logical manner as well as challenge and contribute to the department and company process
- Working current knowledge in HMRC procedures and requirements focusing on HTC’s, CPC’s, IPR, Customs, Warehousing, Prior Export Equivalence, Valuations and export licence requirements is preferred.
- Ability to monitor the movement of items under customs control and prepare declarations e.g. Intrastat, IPR declarations and Diversions to Home Use entries
- Previous experience in booking international/domestic freight and maintaining accurate records for HMRC purposes would be essential
- Dangerous goods awareness would be a benefit but not essential
- Previous exposure to Oil & Gas Service Industry environment would be beneficial but not essential

**Experience**:

- Experience within logistics essential

**Education Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
