**Job description**

We are looking for a Post Appointment Corporate Insolvency Case Administrator to join the team at Fortis Insolvency.

Insolvency is a hybrid of accountancy, law, and forensics. From realising assets, to paying creditors, every day can be different. Part of the role involves delving into director conduct and identifying aspects of misconduct in order to try and improve the overall situation for the creditors left behind. Each case is diverse, with its unique set of quirks and situations that need to be managed.

Insolvency is governed by the Insolvency Act 1986, as amended, and associated Rules. There are tight date limits to be met and statutory deadlines that MUST be adhered to.

- Read and interpret lots of information quickly - including words, figures and legislation
- Make and justify their choices, providing written records of their thought process

This role would ideally suit someone who already has experience of a minimum of 1 year in corporate insolvency.

Although every part of a case journey needs to be understood, this role will primarily concentrate on post appointment aspects:

- Asset realisations
- Statutory investigations & identification of potential recovery options
- Bank statement reviews
- Pursuit of third parties to recover antecedent transactions identified
- Liaising with solicitors, agents and other instructed professionals
- Liaising with directors, former employees, creditors, banks, & other relevant agencies, etc.

- Potentially drafting & managing post appointment decision procedures
- Producing & delivering Progress Reports
- Internal case reviews to evidence ongoing case progression
- Identification of cases that are ready to be closed & progressing closure processes

In exchange for continuing an insolvency career in the ever-changing world of insolvency the company will offer:
