Founded in 2012 with a base of over 500,000 customers, this client are continuing to revolutionise their fintech space by launching their first**SaaS** platform: a truly **ML** driven marketplace that is disrupting the fintech industry through their automated/structured data insights engine.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working with **machine learning** technology alongside **data scientists**, where you will be developing ML pipelines and backend services in a start-up/incubator environment - but at a company with all the maturity and backing that comes with being attached to an established multi-national.

Reporting into the director of engineering, you will be a senior member of a cross-functional agile product team with an embedded DevOps culture. This will not just be **R&D** working on tech that won't see the light of day - you will be building and shipping features pivotal to the platform and truly see your work going into production

You will have strong backend **Java** development experience and have developed **microservices,** as well as good understanding and experience with **TDD,**having also worked in cloud services environments (they use **AWS** but open to other previous experience).

Any of the following are majorly beneficial, but not essential**:Spring Boot**, **Groovy**and **Grails**, **React**, **AWS**, **JPA**, **messaging services**, **Kubernetes**, **Docker**.

The **Interview process is**2 stages - that's it A 30 minute screening call with the Director of Engineering to get to know each other and the offering/where your experience could fit in. Then a 2 hour final stage (90 minute technical sessionand 30 minute discussion/answering of any further questions you may have).

The working model is **hybrid** (typically once a week/fortnightly in their London Office) with them being very flexible as to how/when this should look.
