An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client in Stanley, we are requiring a Machine Operative on a temp-perm basis to work along side their existing team.

Hours of work will be 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday and 7.30am - 1.00pm Friday.

Duties of the role;
- This role does involve manual handling
- Using a cutting saw
- Setting the machine to cut the product at the right length
- Packing the product to the right customer specification
- Lifting the product on to pallets and passing to the service department for dispatch
- Using basic hand tools
- Communicating all faults to management

Preferred/Essential Experience
- Previous manufacturing experience and machine setting experience is preferred and particularly any experience with lean manufacturing or six sigma
- A Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck license is advantageous but not essential
- A familiarity to working to targets is also advantageous for this fast paced manufacturing role
