We are looking for a full time permanent Patient Pathway Co-Ordinator to work within the Surgical Divisional POD's (Point of Delivery). You will facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.
You will provide administrative support to clinical staff within the Surgical POD'S including Consultants, Nurse Specialists and Junior Doctors ensuring effective co-ordination of their diaries etc. This will include cancellation and re-instating of clinics in line with planned and unplanned leave.
The team consists of 4 patient pathway co-ordinators and 1 patient pathway assistant and supports 11 surgical consultant specialists. The Colorectal POD works along the Breast POD and occasional cross-over might be required.
