Hull Culture and Leisure are looking for enthusiastic Leisure Assistants to work effectively in a team, to provide a safe environment through the supervision of all customers using the swimming pools and all other areas of the facility. To provide a high standard of cleanliness and customer care so that customers can partake and enjoy their appropriate activity or sport.

This post is a 37 full time position at Woodford Leisure Centre working a two-week pattern which includes daytimes, evenings, and weekends, you will receive enhanced pay for evening and weekend work.

We will also be recruiting casual leisure assistants during this campaign who will be required to work across all leisure sites if needed/able to do so.

A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is desirable for this post, but training will be given. A prerequisite to pass a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is you must be able to swim 100m on your front and 100m on your back, descend to the deepest part of the pool and swim 50m in 60secs.

A swim test will be given as part of the recruitment process.

A degree of flexibility is required in this role as you will need to cover for holidays and absences.
