Let’s face it: ‘digital content’ is a rather dry way of describing the myriad ways that each of us is inspired to stop scrolling, take notice and let something new and exciting wash over us. It’s become a catalyst for change and ignited innovation as brands seek to create head-turning engagements and solid storytelling.

At British Cycling we’re no different, with plenty to shout about and a nation of characters and champions who all have one thing in common: riding their bike. But we need help bringing those stories to life with emotive, creative and beautifully presented ideas that our communities and the country at large can relate to.

**It goes without saying that you will need to be a great storyteller in this role. Covering video, visual, audio, social and written content, your translation of varied briefs will be key in helping us to best shape how our work is shared.

Whether interviewing an Olympic champion, grabbing moments for social at a fast-paced event or sharing the accomplishments of a long-serving volunteer, you’ll always be striving to show our community at its very best. Working within the Marketing Team, we will support you to not only sharpen your trade but also broaden your experience - with some incredible encounters along the way.

In this role you will focus your energy on:

- Creating high quality and compelling content for British Cycling digital channels and third party channels.
- Bringing our stories and ideas to life for a wide variety of audiences in line with our strategy to ‘Lead our support and inspire our communities’
- Finding creative ways to engage our members across multiple areas of interest
- Playing an active role in a culture of continuous improvement in the creative output of British Cycling.
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of British Cycling’s social media channels, including planning, posting, curating, optimising and analysing content (both paid and organic) across a number of channels and accounts
**All we need from you is**
- Experience of making, editing and distributing engaging and high-quality content for a variety of digital channels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, solve problems efficiently, and meet tight deadlines.
- Capability to work with multiple stakeholders across the business in order to produce content that supports organisational objectives.
- Demonstrable video production, camera and editing skills.
- Experience working with both talent and external suppliers in order to produce digital content executions.
- Portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills in across a variety of content formats and channels.
- Knowledge of cycling would be advantageous.
