Contracts Manager - Windows Installations
Working for a leading subcontractor - New Build
Kent
£35,000 to 60,000 (window fitting experience preferred)
Company vehicle, phone, laptop and fuel card all provided.
My client is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to look after 10- 12 sites (newbuild construction) they will be dealing with the window installation element only.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Liaising with our customers on site
- Ensure efficient, safe and productive installations on site
- To ensure that productivity is maximised by way of using the resources of the business (vehicles, Labour) in the most efficient and economical manner
- Ensure that labour is kept up to date with all Health and Safety matters, preferable with a recognised health and safety qualification
- Dealing with site requests, Site surveys, attend site start up meetings, minute and report those meetings
- Keep up to date with all replacement parts orders
- Responsible for the efficient operation of the window site installation in general
- Check and monitor quality of our work by way of site inspection reports on a weekly basis to include Site Audit Pro’s
- Ensure the staff working with you within the operations office are working efficiently and according to company policies and procedures.
- To work closely with installations managers in the day to day running of the installation teams
- To assist in training fitters in key areas
- To attend site on our fitters first visit to assist in contract start up
- Operate our vehicle in a safe, clean and efficient manner
- Attend periodical management meetings with pre-prepared reports
- CSCS supervisor or above required
